Westwood is located between Central Chadderton and Oldham Town Centre, it is close to the A627(M), which gives access to Junction 20 of the M62. FirstGroup provides frequent bus services to Middleton and through Oldham Town Centre to Manchester City Centre, while the newly extended Metrolink gives access to the rest of Greater Manchester.

Homes in the area are within walking distance of Central Chadderton’s busy centre and Asda superstore, in addition to having its own variety of local shops and Tesco Extra store.
