Town Centre

Oldham Town Centre is closest to Higginshaw Village, Westwood and Coppice, but, good and frequent transport links make the whole of the borough easily within reach. FirstGroup provides frequent bus services running throughout the borough and beyond, and the newly extended Metrolink also gives access to the rest of Greater Manchester.

Oldham Town Centre has many shops and amenities, including Tommyfield Market, it is also home to Oldham Community Leisure’s newly opened leisure centre with state of the art facilities including workout stations, dance and spin studios, indoor courts and rinks, sauna, steam and a county level 25 metre, 8 lane pool. Boundary Park, the home of Oldham Athletic football club is located here, as is the Royal Oldham Hospital.
